Welcome to Iris Gloria Photography! I'm Iris a natural light lifestyle photographer located in Louisville, Kentucky. I serve all Kentucky and its surrounding areas and I’m not afraid to travel or bust out my passport. I specialize in Family Photography and pride myself in capturing those candid moments that last a lifetime allowing those special moments to freeze in time. Well on most days if I’m not behind a lens shooting or in front of a computer editing, you can find me relaxing with the family, shopping with the girls, deep in an antique mall, organizing, planning my next getaway or spending endless days at TJ Maxx + Home Goods pretending I’m Joanna Gaines from “Fixer Upper” or an over obsessed “Home Edit” fan girl! I am a wifey to my husband Dane, a Momma to our sweet n’ sassy girl Kyliana Isabel, a middle sister, daughter, aunt to the coolest kids on the block & a best friend to some amazing peeps. I am a Christian and 100% Puerto Rican and so proud of my heritage. I am very blessed in this journey the Lord has led me on!
Photography has always been a passion of mine, so after graduating college at the University of Kentucky and starting my career in the marketing world I decided a little after that to turn this passion of photography into a fun hobby. Well that didn’t take long because a year later I was a full-fledged photographer and here I am today. I couldn’t have been more blessed with the response I received about my work and the push all my clients gave me to follow my dreams years ago. Whether I’m photographing sweet families, a newborn baby a few days old or a gorgeous momma to be… I LOVE EVERY MINUTE of being behind the lens and getting that giddy feeling of JOY every time I capture memories for each and every one of you. So that alone is pretty much the reason why I love and have such a passion for photography!
Last but not least, everything I do and how hard I work is a reflection of the best role model I could have ever been blessed with... My Daddy, Partner in Crime and Angel! He is now in heaven watching and laughing at my every move lol, I am so grateful for how he raised my sisters and I to always be passionate, love others and go after our dreams. The Lord called him home to soon in 2011 and the work ethic and drive for doing what I love to do is all thanks to him and those who support me daily on this journey.
